Friday's Assignment
Things don't always work out in friendships.
Have you ever been dumped, gotten ditched, and faced rejection? What happened? Then what happened? Tell a partner about your experience or someone else's.
Here are your tasks:
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there.

Rapture, praise, and endless worship
Will be our sweet portion there.

FREDDY:When she mentioned how her aunt bit off the spoon,
She completely done me in.
And my heart went on a journey to the moon
When she told about her father and the gin.
But I never saw a more enchanting farce
Than the moment when she shouted,
"Move your bloomin' ..."
[dialog]
I have often walked down this __(street)__ before,
But the pavement always stayed beneath my __(feet)__ before.
All at once am I several stories high.
Knowing I'm on the street where you live.
Are there lilac trees in the __(heart)__ of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour out of __(every)__ door?
No, it's just on the street where you live!
And, oh, the towering __(feeling)__
Just to know somehow you are __(near)__ ;
The overpowering feeling
That any second you may suddenly __(appear)__ !
People stop and __(stare)__ . They don't bother me,
For there's nowhere else on Earth that I would __(rather)__ be.
Let the __(time)__ go by. I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live.
